Mahwah eruv vandalism suspect from September arrested

Mahwah Police announced Thursday they arrested a township man who allegedly damaged the eruv on Airmont Avenue in September.

On Sept. 3, police in Mahwah released images of a man dressed in black ripping away ripping away pieces of the PVC pipes that mark the eruv from a utility pole on Airmont Avenue near Masonicus Road. A woman was also seen to the man’s right, possibly texting.
